The Sumitomo Ice Edge is a dedicated winter tire designed for cold temperatures, snow, slush, and ice. It features an aggressive directional winter tread pattern with extensive siping for additional biting edges, wide grooves to help evacuate snow and slush, and a winter-focused rubber compound that remains flexible in cold temperatures.
These tires are also factory studdable and currently equipped with winter studs, giving them an additional advantage on icy Vermont roads.
