BUDTENDER - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Local Applicants Preferred
Location: White Plains, NY
Compensation: $20 per hour
Schedule: Part-time: Nights, Weekends, and Holiday Shifts REQUIRED
If applicant is not local to White Plains, they must have their own means of getting to and from the store on time.
Our Dispensary looking for a reliable, personable Budtender to join our team. We bring a refined approach to cannabis retail through knowledgeable service, a welcoming atmosphere, and attention to detail.
Our ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn. Cannabis retail experience is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers and provide attentive, professional service.
Explain product options, formats, potency, and responsible use without making medical claims.
Help customers choose products based on their preferences and budget.
Verify identification and follow store procedures and New York cannabis requirements.
Accurately process sales using the point-of-sale system and follow cash-handling procedures.
Fulfill orders carefully, checking products against each order before handoff.
Maintain a clean sales floor and work area.
Cross-train in fulfillment, and inventory support.
Complete required training and stay informed about new products.
Follow security procedures and promptly report discrepancies or concerns to management.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and handling cash.
Able to work effectively with a team in a busy retail environment.
Willing to learn and follow established procedures.
