Pay: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Lee Drilling LLC is a family-owned water-well drilling company serving customers throughout Oregon. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Driller’s Helper to join our crew.
This is a hands-on, outdoor position assisting with water-well drilling, pump systems, equipment operation, job-site preparation, cleanup, and general drilling activities. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, willing to learn, follows instructions carefully, and takes pride in doing quality work.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the driller with daily drilling operations
• Prepare, load, unload, and organize tools and materials
• Help set up and clean job sites
• Assist with drilling equipment, pipes, pumps, and related materials
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance
• Follow all company procedures and safety requirements
• Travel to job sites throughout Oregon as needed
• Maintain a clean, professional, and respectful work environment
• Provide dependable support and arrive ready to work
Preferred qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• CDL—Commercial Driver’s License—is strongly preferred ( BUT NOT NECESSARY )
• Previous drilling, plumbing, construction, mechanical, equipment-operation, or general labor experience is a plus ( no necessary )
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and safely lift heavy materials
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, honesty, respect, and attention to safety
Experience is helpful, but we are also willing to consider a motivated candidate who is reliable, learns quickly, and wants to develop skills in the drilling industry.
