The sets have inner covers with bee escapes, plastic queen excluders, and bottom boards with landing porches. The boxes are constructed with finger-jointed corners and have recessed handles for lifting.
Also a Ross rounds box with all the plastic rings, supports, wax sheets, and container lids (lets the bees make two sided honeycomb that has caps on each side of the comb).
Also, a bird distress call box, front hive gates, feeder, and my oxalic fogging / application setup (190 proof vodka, oxalic acid crystals, fogger, a couple of propane cans, and the recipe). Look it up - works OK against varroa).
Oh, also a box side mount to hold the extra frame when checking your bees.
I also have one more complete setup that includes just a deep with base, lid, etc. that I use as a swarm lure box. Not pictured as I need to bring it down still.

Are they dusty - yes. Do they have propolis on them - yes. Do they need to be painted - your call.
