About the Role
I am looking for a reliable, organized, and caring female to join my support team. This is a part-time position (15–25 hours/week), with a mix of daytime, evening, and overnight shifts. You will be working in my home and occasionally accompanying me in the community. You will be paid every two weeks by cheque. This is not a cash job.
Responsibilities
Tasks vary by shift and may include:
- Personal care (bladder and bowel routines, dressing, showering)
- Transfers using a sliding board or ceiling lift
- Meal preparation
- Laundry and housekeeping
- Running errands and shopping
- Accompanying me to appointments
- Occasional travel support
What I’m Looking For
- Female
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
- Non-smoker
- Lives no more than 10 km from Dundas & Ossington
- Comfortable around cats
- Physically able to assist with transfers and personal care
- Healthcare experience is an asset, but not required—training will be provided
