Forte Interiors Design Build is a mid-sized company that specializes in the manufacturing and design of high-end custom-made furniture and cabinetry for residential projects.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) in cabinet making, installation and/or woodworking. This is a hands-on building role — the Cabinet Builder works alongside the shop team to build, assemble, install and finish custom cabinetry, furniture, and project components to a high standard of craftsmanship. Full-Time.
Eligible candidates must have the following requirements:
What You'll Do
Build, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry, furniture, and project components to exacting quality standards
Read and interpret shop drawings, elevations, and cut lists to build jobs accurately to spec
Scribe, trim, adjust, and fit components for a clean, seamless result
Work collaboratively with fellow cabinet makers and shop staff to keep production on schedule
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, following all safety protocols
Flag quality or fit issues early and communicate proactively with the shop lead
Handle tools, equipment, and materials with care and precision
Assist with inventory and materials organization as needed
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional cabinet making/millwork experience
Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, hardware, and assembly sequencing
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, elevations, and cut lists with precision
High attention to detail — quality and fit matter
Professional communication and reliability
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Ability to lift, move, and safely operate shop equipment and machinery
Ability to learn and/or operate a CNC router alongside team members
