Hello.
I'm looking for a household admin and helper, paid hourly. Three-bedroom split-level home occupied most of the year by one person.
Tasks may include household to-dos, such as:
*Sweeping interior of home, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
*Laundry--we have a washer and dryer
*Making store runs (we live very close to the Whole Foods, Target, and CVS at Prospect Avenue in West Orange) OR setting up deliveries
*Taking the trash and recycling bins from the garage to the sidewalk, and moving them back again.
Less frequent:
*Moving boxes from closets into storage or vice-versa
*Taking clothing or other belongings to recycling or for donation
*Shoveling (or organizing shoveling) in the event of snow. This happens only occasionally, but it is very important.
Big plus if you live in or very close to West Orange
If you have a lap top and WiFi, there may also be some admin tasks that can be accomplished remotely.
You must have a car.
Scheduling is flexible. Since trash and recycling go out early Wednesday and Saturday morning, those may be good days to accomplish most of the to-dos above.

I will choose three or so applicants in the first round and request a video interview. Based on that, I'll assign a paid test task. I have to complete these interviews, hire, and test task within a week from today (i.e. by August 24).
It is possible that I hire one person to do some of the to dos above, and another person to do some others. But ideally, it would be great to have a single person (or household) help out with the above.
