HELP WANTED – SKILLED CARPENTER / RECONSTRUCTION CARPENTER
We’re a fast-growing restoration and reconstruction company in Northern New Jersey looking to add another skilled carpenter to our team.
This is a FULL-TIME W-2 EMPLOYEE POSITION with steady, year-round work.
This is NOT a subcontractor or 1099 position. We’re looking for someone who wants to come on as an actual employee, be part of the team, and have consistent work without having to chase down their own jobs.
We’ve been growing quickly, have plenty of work, and there is a lot of room for growth for the right person. We want someone who is looking for more than just their next job and wants an opportunity to grow with the company as we continue to expand.
We’re looking for someone who is well-rounded and can handle a mix of residential reconstruction work, including:
* LVP flooring
* Drywall installation and repairs
* Insulation
* Painting
* Baseboard, trim and casing
* Doors and finish carpentry
* Occasional hardwood flooring
* Cabinet installation
* Countertops
* General repairs and punch-list work
You don’t need to be a master at every single thing on the list, but you should have real construction experience, know how to use the tools of the trade, and be able to complete work properly without needing to be taught the basics.
Our work changes from job to job. One day could be drywall and insulation, the next flooring and trim, and the next installing cabinets or finishing up a reconstruction project.
We care about pretty simple things: show up when you’re supposed to, do good work, keep the job clean, take care of the customer’s home, and be someone the rest of the team can rely on.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable transportation
* Construction/carpentry experience
* Dependable and able to show up on time
* Comfortable working in customers’ homes
* Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed
Pay will depend on experience and what you can actually do.
Work is throughout Northern New Jersey.
