West Babylon contractor seeks solid Equipment mechanic for landscape equipment, snow removal equipment, utility trailers and construction equipment.
This is NOT a trainee or helper position!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Full or Part Time:
*Skills to include: diagnosing and repairing 2 cycle and 4 cycle small engines - lawn mowers, chain saws, blowers, compactors, cement mixers, snow plows, salt spreader and all construction and landscape equipment. Rebuilding of small engines and all aspects of repairs required independently without assistance or supervision. Training is NOT available.
REQUIREMENTS:
*NYS Drivers License required
*Solid experience for minimum of 1 year working full time on small engines and equipment including small engine rebuilds.
*MUST have own tools
*MUST have a social security number
* MUST be available to work any day, any time it snows.
* MUST be able to read and write in English
* MUST have a cell phone during work hours.
