Solid Pine Advent Calendar that has been signed by Frank E. Romero in 2000. All doors on this piece are conservatively decorated and the Special Door clearly shows the maroon and white A&M lettering which makes this a great celebration piece. Very good quality and scale with the 2000 date signed and also engraved on the lower back of the calendar. Frank E. Romero is famous for is painted wood Constructions and folk-art pieces as some currently site in major institutions such as the Smithsonian American Art Musuem and LACMA. Fernando E. Romero engraved on the back is rare as his name was usually signed Frank E. Romero as seen on the tag. It is confirmed that he did sign his name as Fernando on special occasions.
