Anyone who knows anything about motorhomes in the 80's and 90's knows Winnebago was one of the premier motorhome builders. The built things with quality products and made to last. The Chieftain was one of their top-of-the-line models in the 90's and it was built so solid. This was our first foray into RVing and we could not have been more pleased with this motorhome. We have had "zero" issues with it "because it was made so well" all appliances work and AC's. We loved it because of the shape it's in, but mainly because of its “reliability.” Never worried about breaking down. If you are on a budget and you need to purchase an older model motorhome, you don't want to miss this one - because it is so reliable - no issues!
