This South Bend metal lathe is in excellent, like new condition. It has a 16" swing and is about 6 1/2 feet in overall length. I rebuild metal lathes, and have never seen another from this era in such superb condition. It was built back when quality actually meant something, and will provide decades of good quality service. It comes with a jack shaft assembly and single phase motor and includes a boatload of tooling, consisting of 3 and 4 jaw chucks, full set of change gears, steady rest, face plate and numerous lathe dogs, dead center, drill chuck, tool bits, wrenches, etc. You would be hard pressed to find another South Bend lathe in such superb condition with this amount of tooling anywhere.
