Vintage porcelain figurine, manufactured by Bing & Grondahl (now part of Royal Copenhagen), depicting a young girl in a blue dress feedng a small white cat from a shallow bowl. It is a traditional Danish-style glazing with muted colors and a beautiful gloss finish. There is delicate detailing on the clothing folds and cat's form.
The piece is titled "Only One Drop" and also referred to as "Girl with Cat Drinking Milk". Designed by the renowned Danish sculptor Ingeborg Plockross Irminger. It is identified on the bottom clearly as model #1745 PR. Measures approximately 5.5" (14cm) tall and roughly 6.5"long.
This beautiful piece is in absolutely perfect, like new condition.
