We are seeking an experienced Crew Chief & Lead Technicians who can independently manage and execute water mitigation and emergency response projects.
This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate can assess a loss, develop a drying plan, lead a crew, and ensure proper documentation and execution without supervision.
Responsibilities:
Lead water mitigation projects (Category 1–3, Class 1–4 losses)
Perform and oversee:
Water extraction
Structural drying
Selective demolition
Board-ups and emergency stabilization
Set and monitor drying equipment:
Air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers
Install containment and negative air systems
Monitor moisture levels and document job progress
Communicate professionally with clients and insurance adjusters
Maintain accurate job files and daily logs
Respond to on-call emergency service requests
Qualifications
WRT Certification required
ASD Certification preferred
Proven experience in water mitigation and restoration
Ability to operate independently and lead a crew
Strong understanding of structural drying principles
Experience with demolition, tools, and job site safety
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with complex losses (Category 2/3, extended water exposure)
Familiarity with moisture mapping and documentation tools
