Engine Shop opened in 2021 where we specialize in auto, medium duty, and heavy-duty engine machining and engine rebuilding. We use high-quality machines & equipment including Rottler, Sunnen, Carmec, and Robins. All of our technicians are AERA Certified and have the same unified goal of providing consistent and precise workmanship.
All of our engine rebuilds go through full teardown and are washed and inspected for quality cores. Our blocks are blueprint machined. Our cylinder heads receive a full-valve job, surfaced and new valvetrain components. Crankshafts are polished or ground and balanced accordingly. Connecting rods are inspected and piston pin bushings are installed and/or resized. All of our engines receive new pistons and rings, new main and rod bearings, cam bearings, connecting rod bolts, main bolts/studs, head bolts/studs, oil pump and a full gasket set.
All of our engine rebuilds are either tested on our Superflow Dyno (gas only) for full break-in or our RMC Sim Tester (diesel and gas) to test the cooling system, oil pressure, oil flow, and compression.
Engine Core:
Core charge is dependent on type of engine and will be added to cost, if no rebuildable core is provided.
Core charge is refundable if a reusable core is provided within 30 days. Once received, core will be inspected and customers will be notified within 10 business days.
Warranty:
Stock gas engines have a 1-year/15,000-mile non-commercial or 6-month commercial limited warranty.
Stock diesel engines have a 1-year/25,000-mile non-commercial or 6-month commercial limited warranty.
Extended warranty available for an additional charge.
