Family owed hog farm needs full and part time workers for all parts of farrow to finish hog operation.
Duties include:
breeding sows
farrowing and processing baby pigs
moving hogs
managing hog health and welfare
feeding
possibly grinding and delivering hog feed
all other duties necessary to ensure heathy hogs
Worker must:
be able to complete all physical duties including bending, lifting, herding hogs, climbing, and other duties necessary
be able to work in hog facilities
be able to work in all weather conditions, occasionally outside
have an active driver's license and be able to be insured by our insurance company
housing may also be available
Full time workers may be eligible for excellent individual health insurance, paid holidays and two weeks paid vacation after 1 year.
Individuals with farm and/or animal care experience are desired
