ALL PIANO OPTIONS. ONE HONEST SOURCE.
Cordogan’s Pianoland in west-suburban Geneva is Illinois’ oldest piano store, family-owned and operated since 1950. We didn’t become a Chicagoland institution by operating from a flashy, high-rent retail center supported by inflated prices. Instead, we built our reputation on something more important: experience, integrity, value and old-fashioned professional service. Our nearly 30,000-square-foot facility is historic, distinctive and sometimes delightfully quirky. It’s part retail showroom, part workshop, part warehouse and part piano museum—and it contains one of the largest and most varied piano inventories in the Midwest. Our sales staff consists entirely of family members and seasoned piano professionals, each with more than 30 years of industry experience. We help buyers navigate an enormous range of choices without pressure, sales gimmicks or steering everyone toward the same solution.Bring the kids. Bring your spouse. Bring the dog. Seriously—we love dogs!
USED ACOUSTIC PIANOS
Used-piano buyers can expect one of the deepest and most carefully restored selections in the Midwest. Brands frequently include Kawai, Yamaha, Steinway, Estonia, Shigeru Kawai, Mason & Hamlin, Schimmel, Petrof, Boston, Knabe, Baldwin, Charles Walter, Bechstein, Blüthner and many others. Our used pianos are thoroughly evaluated and professionally restored as needed—inside and out—by experienced piano technicians. Our nationwide-competitive pricing and five-year parts-and-labor warranty make it worthwhile to visit Cordogan’s before purchasing any used piano, whether it is being offered by another store or a private seller.
NEW ACOUSTIC PIANOS
New acoustic-piano buyers can explore Kawai, Shigeru Kawai, Estonia, Knabe and other leading brands in a wide variety of sizes, styles and finishes.Cordogan’s is the only authorized dealer in Illinois offering the complete product lines from Kawai, Shigeru Kawai and Estonia pianos. Just as importantly, you can compare new pianos directly with professionally restored used alternatives—often the most helpful way to determine which represents the best value for you.
DIGITAL & HYBRID PIANOS
Cordogan’s is Illinois’ only dealer for Roland’s complete line of digital pianos, including the RP, HP, LX and GP series. We are also Northern Illinois’ only dealer for Kawai’s full line of digital and hybrid pianos. Casio and Celviano models, along with used digital pianos, round out dozens of choices available to see and play in one location. Our digital-piano prices are at least as low as internet pricing—with better service, experienced advice and the ability to actually play the instrument before buying it.From $699 digital pianos to $250,000 concert grands—and virtually everything in between—we truly have something for everyone.
MORE THAN JUST PIANO SALES
Cordogan’s is actively involved in every major option available to today’s piano buyer:
• New acoustic pianos
• Fully restored used pianos
• Digital and hybrid pianos
• Player pianos
• Piano rentals
• Piano moving and tuning
• Repairs, rebuilding and refinishing
• Piano appraisals and private-purchase evaluations
• Comparing the total cost of a private purchase or restoration with other available options
Being actively involved in all these areas gives us a uniquely balanced perspective. If you want honest guidance about which type of piano best fits your space, budget and goals, it can be refreshing to speak with people who understand all the options—not a retailer steering you toward the only one it happens to sell.

IMPORTANT CAUTION FOR PIANO BUYERS
Online marketplaces—including Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist—have become increasingly problematic because of scams and deceptive listings. On Facebook, fake sellers may appear to be posting through legitimate accounts that have been hacked, making the deception difficult to detect. Craigslist presents a different problem because posters can remain anonymous, and some commercial resellers pose as private owners to make buyers believe they are purchasing privately. Most importantly, not every scam is designed to take money immediately. Some listings are intended to collect personal information such as telephone numbers, email addresses or home addresses, which may later be used for identity theft or harassment—particularly when combined with information available through social-media accounts. Even experienced buyers can be caught off guard. Verify sellers carefully and be cautious about sharing personal information.
