Rare Private Press Historic Opera Collection (86 Vinyl LPs)

Selling on behalf of a friend of Met Opera PR rep, Dale Heapps: a massive, historic private archive of 86 vintage opera LP records on legendary underground private-press labels The Golden Age of Opera (EJS) and Unique Opera Records (UORC), produced by historic vocal archivist Edward J. Smith.
These limited-run, mail-order subscription releases feature rare off-the-air broadcasts, in-house theater recordings, and live relays from La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, and European stages that were never commercially available in stores. Every label carries the historic "PRIVATE RECORD – NOT FOR SALE" imprint.
