The room is ~90 square feet with 20-foot tall ceilings, beautiful wooden beams, a south-facing window nook, and exposed brick
This posts includes two versions of room organization - one with a twin bed and one with a full bed

The House: Bloomhouse!
Enormous, airy rowhouse with 6 bedrooms and 2.5 baths
Central air conditioning, a front porch and back patio with a grill and fire pit
Incredible open kitchen with a Viking stove, a huge island, and two fridges
The first floor is all common space, which includes an open kitchen/dining room, living room, 1/2 bath, and back patio
The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The 2nd floor also houses a Washer and Dryer
The 3rd floor also has 3 other bedrooms, including the one on offer, with a shared bathroom (among 3 people)
The first floor common space requires a set of stairs to access from the sidewalk, and the bedroom is up two flights of stairs
We are a pet-free house due to allergies and on account of: too many animals in one house
About Us:
We are five women in our late 20s and early 30s
One person has lived here for nine years, one for four, and three are new within the last six months (though 2/3 were friends of the house long before moving in)
We’re all socially progressive, laid-back, and foster a queer and BIPOC friendly + inclusive space
We've come together for the occasional party, group dinners, board games, and TV/movie nights, but also respect each other's personal time and space
About the Neighborhood:
Mount Pleasant is a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood with easy access to the Columbia Heights Metro (12 min walk), bus lines on 16th St. and 14th St., and running and running/hiking trails in Rock Creek Park
The center of the neighborhood, Mount Pleasant St., has a perfect combination of great restaurants, bodegas, farmers markets, and the occasional street festival
Argyle Market is a 3-minute walk away, Streets is a 6-minute walk away, and Giant/Target/Best Buy/Lidl is a 12-minute walk away
