THE MONEY

Experienced barbers with established clientele can earn at the higher end of our pay range. Newer hires typically earn $22–$24/hour while building repeat clientele.

WHO WE NEED
We’re looking for skilled, dependable barbers who take pride in their work.
You MUST be confident with BOTH clipper cuts and scissor cuts. Our clientele is approximately 50% Black and 50% White, so versatility across hair textures and styles is essential.
Experience with fades, tapers, classic cuts, beard trims, and straight razor services is expected.
A practical cutting demonstration is required. We evaluate technical skill, consistency, and finished results.
Professionalism, punctuality, a good attitude, and teamwork are non-negotiable. We’re building a culture, not just filling chairs.
REQUIREMENTS
* Active DC barber/cosmetology license or eligibility for DC reciprocity
* 2+ years of experience preferred
* Available at least 16 hours per week preferred
* Six-month introductory employment period
