I've spent my career walking into projects with lots of moving parts and figuring out what needs to happen next.
I've written proposals that won multi-million-dollar contracts, managed events, productions and logistics in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, worked in entertainment and event sales and marketing, including as a director on the European tour of Cirque du Soleil's Quidam, coordinated artists and personnel, written and edited and helped clients get complicated projects across the finish line.
I've always been curious but have never been particularly interested in putting myself into one neat job title. That's not how my career has worked out.
I'm useful because I can move between project management, writing, marketing, sales, research, communication, and logistics, depending on what the job requires.
Why not try me on a project?
For a few weeks. Maybe three months. Maybe longer.
If we work well together, great. Some of my short-term projects have turned into working relationships or friendships that lasted for years. One client came back to me whenever they had something new to market over an eight-year period.
Other projects ended when the work was done—and we stayed in touch.
That's fine, too.
I like working intensely when there's something to accomplish, and I also value the freedom of being an independent professional. I'm not looking for a conventional 9-to-5 job.
A couple of other things about me:
I get back to people.
Always have. In event sales, I made sure people heard from me within 24 hours—even when I was traveling.
I'm not afraid to pick up the phone.
Sometimes talking to someone is simply the fastest way to solve a problem.
I've built my career largely through referrals, repeat business, and relationships. I'm reliable, straightforward, approachable and honest, and I take responsibility for the work I agree to do.
I'm now based in Spain and work remotely with U.S. and international clients. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish.
I can go where I need to be, when I need to be there.
