Duties
Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high quality and safety protocols.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments with accuracy.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery during peak hours while adhering to food safety standards.
Support team members in various tasks such as food prep, cashiering, or cleaning to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a café, grocery store, or retail setting will help you excel in this role.
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is beneficial.
Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but training will be provided.
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals are essential.
