PART-TIME CONSTRUCTION HELPER – PAID TRAINING / OPPORTUNITY TO GROW
Connected General Contractors is looking for a reliable part-time construction helper to assist with residential and commercial construction projects throughout the DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia (DMV) area.
This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn the construction trades and grow with a general contracting company. Experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, works hard, and wants to learn.
Work May Include
* Assisting electricians and plumbers
* Basic framing and general construction
* Demolition and site preparation
* Carrying and organizing materials
* Using basic hand and power tools
* Drilling, measuring, cutting, and fastening
* Jobsite setup and cleanup
* Helping skilled tradespeople with installations
* Learning electrical, plumbing, and other building trades
Position
Part-Time Construction Helper
Starting part-time/as-needed based on our current project workload, with the opportunity for additional hours and potentially full-time work as the company grows.
Pay Starting at $20/hour
Pay increases available as you gain experience, become more productive, and are able to perform more work independently.
Requirements
* Reliable and shows up on time
* Willing to learn
* Comfortable doing physical construction work
* Able to lift and carry construction materials
* Able to follow instructions and work safely
* Basic familiarity with hand tools preferred, but not required
* Reliable transportation to DMV-area jobsites preferred
* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
