I’m a Stanford graduate (BA & MA) with nearly two decades of professional writing and editing experience. My background includes fiction and nonfiction, book-length manuscripts, grant writing, nonprofit work, and web content.
I provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading for:
Novels and short fiction
Memoirs and narrative nonfiction
Book manuscripts
Articles and essays
Business and professional writing
Grant applications and proposals
Newsletters and website content
Screenplays and scripts
Speeches and presentations
Reports and other long-form projects
BOOK EDITING
I work with both new and experienced authors on developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, and proofreading. Depending on the manuscript, I can help with structure, pacing, characterization, dialogue, clarity, consistency, grammar, and final polish while preserving the author's individual voice.
GHOSTWRITING
I also take on select ghostwriting projects, including books, memoirs, articles, speeches, and other long-form material. One example of my published ghostwriting work is PUSH ON, available on Amazon.
MORE THAN EDITING
If you're preparing a book for publication, I can also help with cover design, print and ebook formatting, Amazon KDP setup, and other aspects of the self-publishing process.
For larger editing projects, I'm happy to provide a short sample edit so you can see my approach before committing.
Hourly and fixed-project rates are available.
Please email, call, or text with a brief description of your project, approximate word count, and the type of help you're looking for.
