Offering this limited-edition, personally autographed Whitey Ford 10" ceramic plate with gold trim, by Gartlan USA, for $100. Nicknamed "the Chairman of the Board", Ford pitched for 16 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), all with the New York Yankees. He was a 10-time All-Star and six-time World Series champion. In 1961, he won both the Cy Young Award and World Series MVP Award. He is the Yankees franchise leader in career wins, shutouts, and innings pitched. Ford was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.

The plate was limited to a worldwide edition size of 2,360 pieces, symbolic of Ford's career win total. It has never been displayed and comes with the original box. This is part of the larger Gartlan Whitey Ford Collection, which also includes an 8.5" ceramic plate with gold trim, for $40 and a 3.25" plate with gold trim, for $10. Each plate has rare and original hand drawn artwork on the back by renowned artist, Michael J. Taylor. He signed or initialed all 3 plates as well, making for a unique and one of kind collectible. Have a look! We also have large signed and mini Ford statues too. In addition, we have lots of other signed and mini statues, as well as other plates. Message me for more info.
