The first mass-produced wireless remote-controlled toy vehicle was the Radicon Bus, made in Japan around 1954 to 1956. Built from heavy tinplate metal, it used a basic spark-gap radio signal controller to mechanically cycle through steering and movement commands. Photos show dent on top of the bus. Batteries included, no box, cash sale.
