At approximately 13’5” long, the Piccolo is much longer and narrower than a typical recreational or kids’ kayak. The streamlined hull tracks well, moves efficiently through the water, and is a great option for a smaller paddler who wants to develop real kayaking skills rather than use a short, wide recreational boat.
The kayak includes adjustable foot braces, molded thigh supports, padded seat, front and rear deck bungees, carrying handles, and a small rear deck hatch.
It has the distinctive original Wilderness Systems blue/green/yellow color and is a relatively uncommon model that is no longer produced.
The kayak is approximately 30 years old and has normal scratches, fading, and cosmetic wear from use and age, as shown in the photos. Overall, it remains a solid, good-quality kayak.
Selling only because the current paddler has outgrown it and needs to move up to a larger full-size touring kayak.
