This is an outdoor route job. You'll drive a company truck from house to house and clean dog waste from customers' yards. It's physical, independent work, and you'll be outside in all kinds of weather.
Schedule:
Approximately 3 days per week, with opportunities for additional days and fill-in work. Routes generally start around 8 AM and typically take about 5-6 hours to complete.
Pay:
$20-$23/hour equivalent, paid as a daily rate. Finish your assigned route properly and efficiently and you receive the full daily rate.
What you'll be doing:
• Driving a company truck on an assigned Nassau County route
• Cleaning dog waste from residential yards
• Working independently for most of the day
• Entering and securely closing customer gates
• Working around dogs
• Keeping the truck and equipment clean and organized
• Reporting any vehicle, equipment, or customer issues
Requirements:
• Must be 25 or older
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from our Wantagh location
• Smartphone
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and rain
• Comfortable around dogs
• Dependable and able to work without constant supervision
This is a W-2 employee position, NO CASH, NO OFF THE BOOKS,not an independent contractor job. Training is provided.
