Sorrel mare - $7,000

This beautiful 12-year-old sorrel mare stands approximately 15 hands and has been there and done a little bit of everything. She's been used for gymkhana, trail riding, riding down the road, sortings, and arena work. She's been ridden by riders of all levels, including kids ages 11 and up.
She is broke and fancy, goes willingly through all her gaits without a fuss, and has a nice balance of go and whoa. She's not lazy, but she's not overly forward either. She'll work when asked without feeling like you have to constantly push her along.
She's very in tune with her rider and pays attention to what's happening above her. Because of that, she does best with a confident, relaxed rider rather than someone who is very nervous or tense.
On the ground, she's just as enjoyable. She's easy to catch, ties, is good for the farrier, and trailers like a dream. No bad habits or known vices.
She's seen plenty of life and very little bothers her. Whether you're heading down the trail, riding along the road, working cattle, playing in the arena, or wanting to have some fun at a gymkhana, she's a versatile mare with the experience to do it.
