Part-Time Cook ā€” Senior Lunch Program

Vida McKenzie Community Center is looking for a dependable and caring Part-Time Cook to join our Senior Lunch Program!

Our Tuesday lunches are a wonderful opportunity to prepare and serve a delicious, welcoming meal for members of our community. ā¤ļø

šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³ THE POSITION
Every Tuesday
Doors open at 11:30 AM
Prepare and serve lunch for approximately 12ā€“25 people each week
Plan, prepare, and organize meals appropriate for our senior community
Maintain a clean and safe food preparation area
Get grocery items needed with prepaid food card
Clean up the kitchen afterwards
šŸ“‹ REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant must:

Work as an Independent Contractor
Carry their own Workers' Compensation Insurance
Have all required Food Handler Certificates
Be dependable and able to work independently and with the Senior Center Director
Have experience preparing meals for groups
Be knowledgeable about safe food handling and preparation

Pay is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
