It does have brake lights on the rear of this as well. It has excellent lighting if you do need to ride it at night time.
Only "Upgrade" I've made is going from a 2" tire to a 3" tire. Really...you can put whatever wheels you want on this thing. It's quite easy to maintain and work on.
I used to ride this from Colwood to Downtown Victoria in the summer on the Goose. Was quicker than being stuck in the Colwood crawl ;p
Selling it because I just don't use it anymore.
