Guitar is ready to play out of the box (or case). Recent Fresh Professional Setup (from Tuning Fork in Harrisonburg, $150). Just bought a hard Gator case for it that will be in on Friday (another 120$). With those, over 300$ in extras (not to mention the preamp that was also installed).
Luthier Description of Work:
- adjust truss rod for proper neck relief
- perform light fret level
- remove, clean, and reattach bridge
- compensate saddle
- file nut slots
- clean and condition fretboard
- setup with new strings
- remounted and checked electronics. plays and sounds great!
Electronics:
Upgraded with an active Fishman Sonitone preamp/pickup system inside the soundhole running to an endpin jack. Tested and fully operational.
-Cosmetics: Shows typical finish checking and light surface wear consistent with a 50-year-old German guitar (see pictures for the "worst of it"), but it is structurally sound (all issues are cosmetic) and plays easily with low action.
