We are seeking an experienced licensed electrical contractor to join our company in a supervisory employment role and serve as its primary qualifying agent, subject to required approvals.
This position involves actively overseeing our electrical operations in Indian River County, including project planning, field supervision, permitting, safety, and code compliance.
Existing Indian River County registration is not required to apply. We welcome qualified candidates who are willing and eligible to complete the necessary company qualification and local registration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete the required process to qualify the company for electrical contracting.
- Direct and supervise electrical operations and field work, including appropriate jobsite visits.
- Oversee permitting, inspections, workmanship, and compliance with applicable codes.
- Exercise the supervisory and financial approval authority required of a primary qualifying agent under Florida law.
- Work with management to establish procedures, maintain records, and address unsafe or noncompliant work.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Certified Electrical Contractor license preferred.
- Florida Registered Electrical Contractors will also be considered, subject to obtaining the required authorization for Indian River County.
- Experience supervising electrical crews and managing electrical projects.
- Availability to provide ongoing supervision and attend project sites in Indian River County.
- Willingness to complete all applicable company qualification and local registration requirements.
Compensation and Schedule
Compensation and schedule will be discussed based on experience, project workload, and the responsibilities of the position.
