ProStar Staffing is currently hiring Warehouse Associates for a well-established commercial construction services company in Vernon Hills, IL. Our client specializes in supplying and installing architectural openings, interior specialties, and security systems for commercial construction projects.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour
What You'll Be Doing:
Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment and customer pickup
Pull and verify inventory to ensure order accuracy
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Operate warehouse equipment while following safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and productive warehouse
Support daily operations and assist customers as needed
Utilize basic computer systems and warehouse technology
What We're Looking For:
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Basic computer and math skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Delivery driving experience and knowledge of construction, door, hardware, or security products is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Regular lifting of 25-50 lbs.
Occasional lifting of more than 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
Comfortable working around forklifts, warehouse equipment, and machinery
