Offered here at roughly 1/3 of the cost of new is this all-lacquered brass Jupiter semi-professional tenor saxophone from Taiwan. The model number JTS-789-787 was changed to JTS-1100 several years ago but is the same sax.

Saxophones made in Taiwan are prized by professional players who double on tenor and do not want to pay four thousand dollars for a Yamaha Japan let alone eight for a Selmer Paris horn. Jupiter now has most of its saxes made in mainland China and Indonesia. They're OK beginner horns, but not the same quality.

In any event, this tenor has no dents nor major dings. It plays easily starting from its low-Bb. Lacquer is at 95% with just minor wear on key guards (see last photo) and a few small scratches. It comes in its original clean hardshell case which has some worn tolex but is in good solid condition, along with its mouthpiece and ligature, a padded neck strap, a padsaver insert, several quality reeds, and a tube of cork grease. Nothing else to buy.
