Position Overview
Raeder Landree is currently hiring dependable and motivated Production Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a local manufacturing company in Vandergrift, PA. The company specializes in precision metal manufacturing and finishing, producing quality components for a variety of industrial applications.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in manufacturing or build on their existing hands-on experience. No prior manufacturing experience is required! Training will be provided.
Candidates who are reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working with their hands are encouraged to apply. Employees may be eligible for permanent employment after 90 days, based on attendance, performance, and overall fit.
What You'll Do
Perform hands-on production and manufacturing tasks.
Operate production equipment and machinery after training.
Use small hand tools and basic production equipment.
Follow safety procedures and production instructions.
Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work safely and efficiently in a production environment.
Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
Perform other production duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
No previous manufacturing experience required.
Experience working with your hands is a plus.
Experience using small hand tools, assembling products, mechanical work, construction, or similar hands-on experience is helpful.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Dependable and punctual.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Ability to work safely in a production environment.
Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform hands-on work throughout the shift.
Ability to safely work in a production/manufacturing environment.
