4-Zone, 2-Source, Speaker Selector with a Volume Control for Each Zone - $40 (Vancouver)
Granville near Broadway
QR Code Link to This Post
It is a dual-source, stereo speaker selector with an individual volume control and automatic impedance matching for each of 4 different zones.
The photos show that this device is marketed under several different brand names.
With the exception of the name, they appear to be identical.
Amazon.ca lists a new one with the "Avalanche" name for $165.
They list a used one with the "Monoprice" name for $115.
The one I’m selling is labelled “Power Pro Audio PPA3015”.
Operation:
- Each zone has its own source selector switch, volume control and on/off switch.
- Impedance matching is automatic.
- The zone’s source selector allows you to choose which of two amplifiers to listen to in that zone.
- The zone’s volume control varies the volume in that zone.
- The zone’s on/off switch turns the zone on and off.
- If you install fewer than 4 zones, leave the unused zone(s) off.
- If you prefer silence in one or more zones, turn it/them off.
Basic Installation:
- Connect the outputs of up to 2 stereo amplifiers to the inputs of this device.
- Connect one pair of speakers in each of up to 4 zones to the outputs of this device.
Instruction manual is included.
