Duties & Responsibilities
The Warehouse Assistant will work closely with our Production crew and support the team with day-to-day material handling and warehousing activities.
Reporting to the Warehouse / Store Manager , the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Receive incoming products and production supplies and store them accordingly in the freezer or dry warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse operations
• Be able to operate the forklift for material handling in a safe manner.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the freezer.
• Handy Man skills a benefit
• Full Training available
Requirements
• 1-2 years relevant warehouse experience
• Forklift experience.
• Able to work in a freezer and cooler environment.
• Be capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
• Be able to perform minor repairs (tools provided)
• Able to take direction in a positive manner.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and people skills
