Hapag Restaurant is a small, casual restaurant that offers authentic Filipino food. We are looking to hire a hardworking, reliable and responsible kitchen helper/dishwasher to join our kitchen. The candidate must be professional, fast and efficient and understands the importance of cleanliness and being organized. You must be eligible to work in Canada, with a valid work permit or with permanent resident or citizen status.
Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
-process proteins and vegetables – includes wrapping springrolls, skewering meat
-practice food safety
-put away delivery
-wash dishes and keep containers clean
This is a physically demanding job, requiring standing on your feet for long hours and lifting heavy load, repetitive tasks and working under pressure. Must be available to work flexible hours.
We offer competitive industry wage, paid meal breaks, tips, and discount on food. We are closed to public transportation (41st bus and Victoria drive bus). Our hours of operation is 11am to 7pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Shift will be Wednesday to Sunday, morning or afternoon.
Wage per hour: $18.50
