This bass was made in 2011 by boutique builder Scott Surine. I got this bass from an estate sale in Calgary but have since moved on to just playing Warwick basses. It’s an amazing bass made out of 400 year old English oak. 35” scale, 24 frets, 19mm string spacing. Bartolini pickups, gotoh tuners, hipshot bridge. Has typical wear for an older bass and needs a setup. At some point someone routed underneath the bridge, but it has been filled and is hardly noticeable. I would recommend either routing out the cap that has been placed under the bridge slightly, maybe 1/16th of an inch, or putting a light string gauge on because the truss rods are currently almost maxxed out and the action is still a little high for me.
Link to the bass from when it was new on the surine website.
