Looking to hire a proficient production sewer for a product development studio. Must have at least 2 years professional PRODUCTION sewing experience. Must have a vast knowledge of construction techniques. Must be comfortable sewing a wide range of ready to wear styles. Looking for someone who knows how to use an industrial straight stitch and overlock (coverstitch would be excellent as well). Must speak enough English to understand directions and to communicate problems and improvements. This job must be performed in studio in Vancouver and is contract but can turn into full time for the right person. No parking available so commuters must take public transportation or obtain monthly parking however the location is very central and easy to access.
