The room: a furnished lower-level room with a custom raised platform bed (storage underneath, dignity intact), two windows — one looks right out onto the back yard — and more natural light than a basement room has any right to. It's a small room, but fit for royalty: you climb the stairs up to your resting place, and we promise there is no pea under the mattress.
You'll be joining four other amazing, beautiful people. We take initiative on cleaning and maintenance, and we clean up after our own creating. Sometimes we share food and eat together, with no real schedule — it happens when it happens. The household includes a part-time YVR worker and a self-employed carpenter, so the house is both well-traveled and well-repaired.
We're a semi-collective seeking a kind and considerate person to become part of a friendly household. With all rooms filled we'll be 5 housemates, depending on what we decide to create together. We value mutual respect, cleanliness, and open communication — a calm, cooperative home where everyone feels comfortable and at ease being themselves, with a good balance of shared connection and personal space. Bonus points if you enjoy games, organic vegetable gardening, or cycling.

Laundry included, 2 full bathrooms
No pets — we have some spiders for Halloween already
No smoking or vaping in the house or on the property
Scent aware household — please keep fragrances light or none
Arbutus Ridge: Bus 25 (King Edward to UBC) and Bus 16 (Arbutus) nearby, walking/cycling distance to groceries and shops
