We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated PHP and MySQL developer to maintain, improve, and build web applications, websites, and business systems.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), WordPress development, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You should be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting complex technical issues, understanding existing codebases, and developing reliable, production-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and improve PHP-based web applications and websites.
Build and customize WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and integrations.
Write efficient, secure MySQL queries and manage database structures.
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Maintain existing applications while developing new features and systems.
Integrate third-party services, APIs, payment gateways, and business tools.
Required Skills and Experience
Core development skills
Strong professional experience with PHP and MySQL.
E-commerce platforms and online payment processing.
Hands-on experience with WordPress development and customization.
Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with the LAMP stack and Linux-based web hosting environments.
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
Understanding of database design, web security and application performance.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver reliable results.
You do not need to know every technology, Strong PHP, MySQL, and WordPress expertise are the priority.
What to Anticipate
Projects include existing production systems, new web applications, e-commerce, APIs, automation and administrative tools.
We are looking for someone who can quickly learn our systems and become a trusted technical resource.
Work Schedule and Location
Location: Vancouver
Schedule: Generally, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Employment type: Full-time, long-term position.
