**Patient, Kind Cleaner Needed for Decluttering Help – Vancouver $20/hr **
Hi! I’m looking for a reliable, compassionate person to help my mom with decluttering with removal, organizing, and cleaning her home.
She struggles with hoarding, so I’m hoping to find someone with experience in similar situations who can be patient and work alongside her without judgment. She is quite difficult and will require patience. If you are interested in social work and genuinely helping people, this will be great experience.
Job duties would include:
- Sorting belongings into things to keep, donate, recycle, or discard
- Breaking the work into small, manageable tasks at a fast pace
- Organizing the belongings she wants to keep
- Cleaning areas as they become accessible
- Taking donation items to local donation centers
- Making trips to metal depot and bottle depot with her
- Updating me with photos and progress reports after each visit
**You must have your own car and be able to transport items for donation and trips to metal depot**
It’s important that she feels comfortable and involved in the process. Nothing should be thrown away or removed without her agreement. Again, this is not for the faint of heart and will be tough job.
Likely 1-2 sessions per week. 2-3 hours per session.
We’d like to start with a manageable session and discuss further help based on how it goes.
Pay will be $20/hr plus a bonus once house is completely organized and cleared.
Please reply with a little about yourself, your experience with hoarding or significant clutter, and your availability.
Thank you!
