We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient movement and management of goods, ensuring seamless warehouse distribution, transportation, and order fulfillment. Your expertise in supply chain processes, procurement, and warehouse operations will drive improvements in process efficiency and cost management. Duties
Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and order picking, to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy
Manage transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize freight routes and reduce costs
Oversee procurement processes, sourcing materials and negotiating pricing with suppliers to maximize value
Analyze data related to demand planning, inventory levels, and supply chain performance to identify opportunities for process improvement
Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for order processing, inventory control, and materials management
Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate freight movements and streamline shipping & receiving operations
Support packaging, materials sourcing, and warehouse experience initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety standards
Implement process improvements by analyzing workflows and recommending solutions that increase productivity and reduce waste
Operate forklifts when necessary for materials handling within the warehouse environment while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics coordination, or supply chain management
Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, and demand planning processes
Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400 or similar), and transportation management systems (TMS)
Data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information for decision-making purposes
Knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, and 3PL partnerships
Familiarity with packaging standards, materials management practices, and warehouse safety protocols
Warehouse experience including order picking, materials handling, and forklift operation preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and external partners
