We are a fun, fair Vancouver based renovation & maintenance team getting good exercise, learning various skills, getting to use multiple different tools & getting paid to do it. We have a positive environment & appreciative clients which we help maintain & build their properties directly & through contractors. We are keen on teaching the many valuable skills we offer that help build skill set for various professional & personal uses. We hear great feedback from staff on what they learn & who they work with.
We are looking for people who are :
- reliable
- positive
- polite
- open to learn new skills
- able to legally work in Canada with work visa or Canadian citizenship
- who has a BC driver license
- able to lift over 40lb
- able to work outside when necessary
What the job entails:
We are a renovations & maintenance team so it involves many different tasks. About 70 percent of our work is maintenance, a lot of landscape maintenance mixed with pressure washing & gutter maintenance. The other 30% is renovation where we construct new outdoor livings or renovate small apartments. There are many tasks involved but we only start you with the basics until you learn, earn & grow in both. To start it would most likely be helping with labor until we see other opportunities arise.
We are offering:
- approximately 2-3 days days a week, year round
- $25 - $30ph depending on experience, license & or vehicle
- starting out it would be a 3 month probationary period as a temporary independent contractor to see if both sides feel comfortable continuing
