Brix & Mortar is looking for great skilled cooks/chefs to join our team. Currently we are hiring FT positions for Junior Sous/Chef de Partie These positions require applicants to have a passion for making quality food and keeping a great work environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2-3 years experience in similar role & environment ( fine dining experience and/or Red Seal an asset but not required)
Assist with creation of new menu ideas as and when required.
Ensures adherence to all culinary standards
Performs food prep and cooks on the line.
Maintains set standards around Health & Safety. (Food Safe level 1)
A strong willingness to learn and develop one’s skills.
Stable work history. Previous work references are to be provided.
