Haida Beaver Statue by Shamans, British Columbia, Gwai, Cast Resin Totem Statue Sculpture
Vintage from the 1970s
Vintage 7" totem statue, likely representing a beaver or bear, often produced in British Columbia by companies such as Shamans. Typically made of cast resin, or cultured wood to mimic carving. Often associated with Northwest Coast First Nations imagery, particularly Haida art styles. Used as a decorative sculpture or collectible object. Minor repair was done, hardly noticed.
