About Us
Ragazzi Pizza is a family-owned and operated pizzeria in East Vancouver. We take pride in serving great pizza, providing friendly service, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
We're looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking individual to join our front counter team.
This position requires more than simply taking orders. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and can confidently handle front-of-house responsibilities independently once trained.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working under pressure, and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
*Customer Service & Order Management*
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Accurately take orders in person and over the phone.
- Operate the POS system and process payments.
- Manage pickup and third-party delivery orders.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and completed efficiently.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and minor complaints professionally.
*Food Preparation & Front Counter Operations*
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
- Heat, prepare, and package side dishes.
- Organize orders and ensure customers receive the correct items.
- Restock supplies, packaging, beverages, and other essentials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the front counter and customer areas.
*Independent Responsibilities*
- Confidently manage front counter operations without constant supervision once fully trained.
- Prioritize tasks and stay organized during busy service periods.
- Take initiative when cleaning, restocking, or assisting coworkers.
- Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
- Follow company procedures, food safety standards, and workplace policies.
- Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
Work Schedule

- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willing to follow instructions, learn procedures, and work as part of a team.
- Previous restaurant, customer service, or POS experience preferred.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset.
We are willing to train the right candidate, but reliability, work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential.
Compensation
*$18.50–$21 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips.*
All wages are processed through payroll. We do not offer cash-paid employment.
