Want to learn hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile installation?
PH Floors is looking for a dependable helper for residential and commercial projects throughout Langley, Surrey, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
You will assist with both flooring and tile projects.
Full-time, part-time and casual/on-call opportunities are available depending on project schedules.
Starting pay: $25–$35/hour, depending on relevant experience and skills. Opportunity to earn more as you learn and take on additional responsibilities.
You will help with:
- Moving flooring, tiles and materials
- Removing existing flooring and tiles
- Preparing and cleaning subfloors and tile surfaces
- Mixing mortar and grout
- Assisting with hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile installation
- Measuring, cutting, grouting and finishing work under supervision
- Job-site setup and cleanup
Previous flooring or tile experience is welcome but not required. Experience using hand and power tools is a plus.
We are looking for someone who shows up on time, works safely and wants to learn.
This is physical work involving lifting and carrying materials, including 50 lb bags and boxes of tiles. Steel-toe work boots and basic PPE are required.
Your own vehicle is preferred because job locations change. Transit applicants are welcome to explain which areas they can reliably reach.
Occasional Saturday, evening or night work may be available.
